We are less than a 1 hour drive from Toronto, a 15 min drive to Barrie (with all the modern conveniences you may need) and just minutes to 3 Ski Hills (Moonstone, Snow Valley & Horseshoe Valley) & 5 Golf Courses (Shanty Bay, Heritage Hills, etc.).The Cottage is over 6,800 sq ft spread over 3 floors and sleeps up to 10 people with: 4 Bedrooms (6 Beds); 5 Bathrooms (4 Full; 1 Half); a bright, open concept Dining/Living Area with 22 ft ceilings; an expansive Chef's Kitchen with a 6-seat island, 2 fridges, 2 ovens, Miele dishwasher and all the cooking supplies you need; 3 Fireplaces, 2 Office Areas for remote working, a professional grade Full Gym, a large basement Rec Room with 85" TV, Full Bar, Billiards & Darts, and Laundry Room.The Outdoor Areas includes an Infinity Pool, large Patio Area with gas-line BBQ, Putting Green, Boathouse with Rooftop Lounge, and Parking for 10 vehicles. The Cottage
The Cottage boasts a breathtaking, sun-drenched Dining/Living Room area with 22 ft ceilings and a gas Fireplace, a stunning Chef's Kitchen that has everything you may need (large island, gas stove, wall oven, 2 fridges, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, air fryer, blender, dishes, utensils, Miele, Keurig & drip coffee makers, basic cooking supplies), 2 Office Areas, a Full Gym, a Rec Room with 85" TV, Full Bar, Billiards, Dart Board, a Laundry Room (detergent and dryer sheets provided).
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The Cottage sleeps up to 10 people.
The 4 Bedrooms include:
(1) the "Master" with a King Bed, Fireplace, 75" TV, Ensuite Bath with Double Vanities, Shower & Tub;
(2) the "Westside Bedroom" with Queen Bed, 65" TV, Closet, Office Area with Desk & Ensuite Bath;
(3) the "East Bedroom-Lakeside" with 2 Double Beds, Office Area, Closet;
(4) the "East Bedroom" with a Queen Bed, Twin Bed & Closet.
The East bedrooms share a full Bathroom. There is also a main floor Powder Room & Basement Bathroom.
The Outdoor Space
The Cottage includes stunning south facing views of Lake Simcoe that go on forever with multiple sitting areas for lounging, suntanning or remote working. The Cottage also includes heated Infinity Pool, a large shaded Patio with gas-line BBQ and seating for 10 people, a private Boathouse with Rooftop Lounge, 2 Fire Pits, and a manicured Putting Green. The Cottage also includes parking for up to 10 vehicles as well as a garage.
The Experience
We offer seamless, contact-free check in and checkout with personal access codes. The Cottage has AC, WIFI, 4 TVs that stream Netflix, AppleTV & Amazon, a Rec Room with full Bar, Billiards & Darts, a full Gym (Treadmill, Weights & Machines), and 2 Office Areas for remote working. We supply fresh bed linens, towels, paper products, shampoo & shower gel, dishwasher & laundry pucks, a fully-equipped kitchen with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, small appliances and coffee makers (Miele, Keurig & Drip) and basic cooking staples (oils, salt, spices, etc.).
Our Location
We are ideally located in Shanty Bay on Lake Simcoe in Oro, Ontario, which is just a 15 minute drive from Barrie with its many restaurants, shopping and modern conveniences. Instead of a 2+ hour stressful drive to Muskoka, we are less than 1 hour from Toronto and the GTA.We are also centrally located for golfing, hiking & skiing: 20 mins to Horseshoe Valley Resort; 30 mins to St.Louis/Moonstone & Snow Valley resorts; 15 mins to 4 golf courses (Heritage Hills, Shanty Bay, Simoro, Willow Creek); another 8 golf courses are within 30 mins (Vespra Hills, Settlers' Ghost, National Pines, The Nest). Boat rentals can also be delivered to the Cottage.
Book With Us
During the summer season (June to mid September), we have a week long (i.e. 7 night) minimum with a Thursday Check In/Out. For all other times of the year, we have a 3-night minimum with discounts for week long stays.Direct bookings with us are easy and secure you the best rate. If you prefer, the property is also available for booking via AIRBNB and VRBO, but you will pay the additional fees those sites charge in addition to our standard nightly rates.For direct bookings, we require your full name, address and cell number.
If you are a first time renter, we must verify your identity through a credible third party site (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook). Once this information is provided, we will send you a contract for review and digital signature.We accept payments via Interac, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal or credit card (Visa, MC, AMEX). If your payment choice incurs processing fees for us (usually 3%), those fees will be passed on to you for payment (i.e., added to total contract cost).Prior to your Check-In, you will receive your individualized personal access codes for the property.
